Lori Muller, Broker/Owner of EXIT Elite Realty with locations in Appleton, Shawano and Oshkosh, Wisconsin, recently partnered with Terrance Wilder, Owner of Wilder’s Bistro, and together as “secret agents” were among the celebrity chefs at Rebuilding Together Fox Valley’s 7th annual fundraising event–the Cuisine for a Cause competition. Rebuilding Together Fox Valley is an organization that assists low-income families by rehabilitating their homes which have fallen into disrepair.
A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Muller and the real estate professionals at EXIT Elite Realty raised funds on the night as well as at events leading up to Cuisine for a Cause, including a murder mystery and parents’ night out. They raised $3,488.00, which EXIT Realty Corp. International matched for a total donation to Rebuilding Together Fox Valley of $6,976.
“This event was especially close to me as it was a way to give back to our community through the assistance to home owners who are elderly, disabled, veterans or low income families who need some work done around the homes they own, but just can’t afford to make those repairs,” said Muller. “Keeping our communities homes’ values not only stable but being able to assist in the way we serve holds a special place in my heart!”
