Steve Gourley, Broker of Record with EXIT Heritage Real Estate in Bridgton, ME, worked with Ossipee Mountains Habitat for Humanity on their recent Tee Off Golf Tournament fundraiser. Ossipee Mountains Habitat for Humanity serves Central New Hampshire by helping build decent, affordable homes for families.
Steve sits on the Board of Directors for Ossipee Habitat as President. Golfing events held in previous years were successful fundraisers, so they continued that tradition, hosting a 3-day tournament at the Indian Mound Golf Course in Ossipee, NH this year.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Acting in his capacity as an EXIT Realty Associate, Steve targeted his sphere and community and solicited sponsorships to raise money. He hoped his personal efforts would raise $4,000 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however he went above and beyond raising $9,426 for a total donation of $13,426 to Ossipee Mountains Habitat for Humanity.
“Steve was a great asset and organizer for our 2021 Tee Off Event. Thanks again for EXIT’s partnership with Habitat to help bring affordable housing to local families,” said Lisa Wilbur, Executive Director of Ossipee Mountains Habitat for Humanity. Ossipee Habitat is about to close on a parcel of land and commence their second build. The funds raised will go towards that build.
