Erin Brown from EXIT Realty Liftlock, Brokerage, in Ontario, took part in the annual Women Build Program with Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region where women from all walks of life come together to learn new skills while helping to make a difference in a local family’s life. Erin participated in the “Brush with Kindness” Campaign where Habitat volunteers partnered with local housing organizations that offered housing support but weren’t necessarily the builders.
“Erin joined a group of women at the Youth Emergency Shelter where they helped to renovate and update their space,” said Brittany Price, Community Engagement Coordinator with Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region. “Leading up to their build days we ask that each participant aim to raise a minimum of $250 towards building safe, decent and affordable homes for local families in the Peterborough & Kawartha Region.”
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Erin successfully raised $258 which EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match for a total donation to Habitat for Humanity of $516.
