Tessier Team Fall Ball for Charity Doubles Impact with Spirit of EXIT

By Jennifer Britain, EXIT Realty Matrix, Brokerage, Embrun, ON

We’re thrilled to share the amazing success of our 4th Annual Fall Ball Charity Tournament. Hosted by The Tessier Team, this event was an incredible day of fun, community spirit, and most importantly, supporting a great cause.

We held a 19+ co-ed softball tournament that was open to agents and all members of the community who wanted to join or create a team. It was a fun day on the field which included multiple games, 50/50 draws, a lottery board, and catch the ace game. All funds raised will go to Good Neighbours Food Bank.

We were able to collect 4 heaping bins full of food donations and with the incredible support of our participants, sponsors, and the community, we hit our goal and made a real impact. The day could not have been better, the weather was fabulous, and the teams had a blast! The park was filled with music, laughter, hard hits and a fundraising spirit. Plus, thanks to the Spirit of EXIT matching our donation, we doubled our efforts and strengthened our commitment to giving back.

This event is a true testament to the power of community and the heart of EXIT Realty’s charitable spirit. We are deeply grateful to everyone who played, volunteered, and supported this amazing cause. Together, we’re making a difference!

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. The Tessier Team hoped to raise $2,500, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they exceeded their goal and raised $2560.50 for a total donation of $5,060.50 to Good Neighbours Food Bank.

“On behalf of the Executive Committee, all the volunteers and all the beneficiaries of the Good Neighbours Food Bank, we would like to thank you for your generous donation. This past year our Food Bank has been very busy. In 2024, an additional 30 to 40 families per month have requested our assistance compared to prior years. Without the support of donors like EXIT Realty, it would be impossible for us to meet the growing demand. We sincerely thank you,” said Jean Francois Gignac, President, Good Neighbours Food Bank.
