Heather Lupton, Associate Broker with EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley, told the team at EXIT Realty, “I began the initiative Love for LEOs (Law Enforcement Officers) in the beginning of 2019 because law enforcement is near and dear to my heart. Blue blood runs deep in my family, and I strive to support our LEO communities here in Montana.
“That being said, I decided that for every real estate transaction I see through to closing, I would reserve $100 from my commission to donate to a law enforcement foundation. It has been my honor and privilege to donate to Flathead County Sheriff K9 program, as well as to Montana Guardian Fund. Montana Guardian Fund is a nonprofit charity dedicated to providing financial assistance to families of Montana Peace Officers who lost their lives, or are victims of serious, traumatic and disabling injury, in the line of duty and cannot return to work.”
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Heather donated $2,500 to Montana Guardian Fund which EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match, totaling $5,000 in benefit of this worthy cause.
“I encourage everyone to support their law enforcement communities – their plight, their cause, their mission, and their strength,” said Heather. “LEOs and their families risk so much to keep our communities safe. If you’re current or retired law enforcement, I salute you and your service. Special thanks to all of my clients who helped make this donation possible.”
