Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island grants life-changing wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses, and the team at EXIT Real Estate Executives in Brookfield, Massachusetts, rallied to help this worthwhile cause.
The team held a family-friendly fundraising Jamboree including activities for children, dinner, live music oracle readings and a raffle. “Lots of local businesses donated items for the raffle and many other businesses sponsored the event,” said Dawn North, Sales Representative with EXIT Real Estate Executives.
A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. The Jamboree raised $2,535.15, which EXIT Realty Corp. International matched for a total donation to Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island of $5,070.30.

Released from the limits of their illness, the wish experience allows their imagination to soar and makes room in their heart for new hope and courage,” said Peg Wheble, Regional Director of Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island. “Just as a wish leads a child to hope, your support leads the Foundation to the future. Thank you for your support and believing in the life-changing power of a wish.”
