Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire (IEBIGS) held its Bowl for Kids’ Sake bowling tournament earlier this year to raise funds to support their mentoring work with at-risk youth in the community. Agents from EXIT Alliance Realty in Temecula, California, jumped on board forming a team they dubbed “The Incredible REALTORS®” and incredible they were, raising $5,100 through sponsorships.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Shawn Sorensen, Broker/Owner of EXIT Alliance Realty, made a request to EXIT Realty Corp. International to match their fundraising efforts for a total donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire of $10,200 to help facilitate mentorship matches.
Melissa Beck, Chief Executive Officer of IEBIGS said, “There are more than 200 children on our waiting list, and thousands in our community, wishing for the positive influence of a Big Brother or Big Sister. It is the support of individuals like you that helps us carry out that mission. Thank you for your generosity and for joining us in starting something BIG today.”
