The team at EXIT Realty Dubuque/Dyersville held a community blood drive to raise funds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. EXIT team had a food truck and the local radio station on hand to promote the event.
According to their website, the mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to “honor and empower Wounded Warriors who incurred a physical or mental injury, illnesses, or wound, co-incident to your military service on or after September 11, 2001.” In addition, family members or caregivers of a Wounded Warrior may also be eligible for assistance.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. The EXIT team raised $500 which EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match, for a total donation to Wounded Warrior Project of $1,000.
“Thank you for fundraising in honor of America’s injured veterans,” said Robin Peeples of the Wounded Warrior Project. “Your partnership with us ensures that warriors receive the lifesaving programs and support they need to take on their next mission in life.”
