Earlier this year, EXIT Magnolia Coast Realty with two offices in Gulfport, raised $855 for the Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s 2017 Women Build. Angela Singletary, Volunteer Specialist with HFHMGC, said, “Our annual Women Build event targets females in the community asking them to come out to the job site and work as well as fund raise to help support the home they are working on. HFHMGC relies on local donors to be able to build high quality, affordable housing and to continue to serve the Gulf Coast.”
Tiffany Burgess, Broker/Owner of EXIT Magnolia Coast Realty, applied to EXIT Realty Corp. International to have the raised funds matched through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program. A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities, including Habitat for Humanity, and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. To-date, EXIT has pledged $4 million to charity. EXIT Magnolia Coast Realty’s funds were matched and a total of $1,710 was donated to Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
“These funds went towards building a house in Gulfport. EXIT Realty not only fund raised but also brought 21 volunteers who came out to work on the home and helped us make great progress,” said Singletary.
