As 2023 draws to a close people are questioning the state of the government, the economy, the
market and the real estate industry itself. The first order of business is to determine what is in your
sphere of influence and what is not then focus your attention on that which you can control,
starting with you.
The preparation lies in reinforcing who you are at your core. Force never works; it’s about
reinforce, reinforce, reinforce. Tell the universe what you aspire to be and want in short, positive
statements written in first person as if you’re already that to which you aspire. I am confident. I
am a skilled negotiator. I am healthy, strong and vibrant. Affirming yourself in this way securely
grounds you. Like the wild fig tree which is said to have roots up to 400 feet deep, you too will
become deeply rooted and able to withstand whatever droughts and buffeting winds 2024 and
beyond may bring.
The good news is all the answers you’re ever going to need are already inside you. The key is
asking effective questions and allowing the answers to come forth. Allowing is a challenging
concept for some people and it can start with asking yourself, “What am I resisting?” and
courageously exploring the answer.
Is any of this easy? No, but it’s worth it. Are you up to the challenge? I believe in my heart of
