EXIT Realty Shoals Reaches Out to the Spirit of EXIT to Get Kruzn for a Kure

Kellie Bowling, Franchisee, and Jessica Davenport, Sales Representative, for EXIT Realty Shoals in Muscle Shoals, AL hosted a Christmas Tree Giveaway to raise money for Kruzn for a Kure Foundation (KFK Foundation). The KFK Foundation was started in 2016 by Jessica and her husband Kyle to raise funding for research of Schimke Immuno Osseous Dysplasia (SIOD) after both their children, Kruz and Paizlee, were diagnosed with the disease.

The team at EXIT Realty Shoals chose to support this foundation as it was near and dear to their hearts with someone in their office being so directly impacted. They sold tickets for $25 each or five for $100 for a chance to win a beautiful Christmas tree lavishly decorated (in teal of course) by the Sweet Home Design Company.

The KFK Foundation has been able to raise almost 1.5 million dollars since its inception which allows them to send $30,000 monthly to pay for doctor salaries, as well as supplies for the lab in the name of SIOD research. The goal of EXIT Realty Shoals was to raise money to go towards the monthly payment for December.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Jessica and her team of professionals raised $3,240 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $6,480 to Kruzn for a Kure Foundation.

“When we opened EXIT Realty Shoals, we were drawn to EXIT because our company strongly believes in service to others,” said Kellie. “How much better can it get when you love your job, and at the same time, you can help others and help your community by changing lives and creating opportunities! And even better, when we are able to help our own, and in turn help others through the money that could be raised.”
