“As a group of women, we all know someone who has been impacted by this terrible disease. We are asking all 18 of the agents in our office to share their stories on social media to help raise funds,” explains Charlene Bailey, Director of Operations for EXIT Southern Charm Realty in Southaven, MS, about how and why she and the team chose to support the American Cancer Society.
The team promoted their initiative on social media and asked colleagues, family, and friends to support them by sending out links with their personal stories that also served as an online fundraiser.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Charlene and the team at EXIT Southern Charm Realty raised $1327.97 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $2,655.94 to American Cancer Society Memphis.
