Becca Bulluck and the Spirit of EXIT ‘Lock Up’ the Fight Against Cancer

Local public service personnel and business leaders gave their time and money to raise funds for cancer research in the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association’s “Lock Up Cancer” event earlier this year.

Wanted posters were printed and the participants solicited donations from their friends, family, and business acquaintances for “bail”. One jailbird was EXIT Town & Lake Realty’s Rebecca (Becca) Bulluck. Becca is no stranger to her community or to her EXIT Family, having received the company’s prestigious 2018 Humanitarian Award for her outstanding community service.

A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds.  Becca raised $1,624 which EXIT’s Head Office was proud to match for a total donation to the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association of $3,248.

“Thank you so much for your participation,” said Rhonda Elmore of the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association. “The funds you raised with the pledge from your corporate office helped us reach our goal of $31,000 and will go very far in helping us help members of our community. Every penny we raise stays in Mecklenburg County going directly to those in need.”
