“Housing is a fundamental need,” says Heather Driscoll, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty at Home in East Lansing, MI in reference to why her office chose to support Haven House. Haven House supports and guides those facing homelessness as they work towards establishing a more permanent residence.
Heather and her team donated a portion of their commission over a six-month period in 2021 on behalf of their clients. The team’s initiative, Housing Assistance Fund, helped with security deposits for re-housing in the community. They were able to promote the fund with their clientele as well as through social media.

Thank you to all the members of your team who so selflessly contribute to providing homeless and at-risk families with hope and support,” said Gabriel Biber, Executive Director of Haven House.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Heather and her team donated $2,500 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $5,000 to Haven House.
