EXIT Realty’s Pacific West Region has taken a compassionate and proactive approach in response to the devastating wildfires that have affected the residents of Maui. The initiative to raise funds for the Maui Food Bank through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting the community during times of crisis.
“In less than 10 days, the collective effort of brokers, agents, and the corporate office resulted in a generous donation to the Maui Foodbank. It will undoubtedly help address the urgent needs of residents who are suffering from a lack of food and water as a result of the catastrophic wildfires,” said Rick DeLuca, Regional Owner.
The call for others to consider contributing to the relief efforts for Maui is a commendable gesture. Such acts of kindness and generosity can make a significant difference in helping those affected by natural disasters rebuild their lives and communities. EXIT Realty’s dedication to assisting the residents of Maui during this challenging time sets a positive example for corporate social responsibility and community support.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. EXIT Realty Pacific West hoped to raise $5,000 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they exceeded that goal and raised $6,282.66 for a total donation of $11,282.66 to Maui Food Bank.
“Mahalo for your generous donation to help families and neighbors facing hunger here in our community with immediate relief and ongoing support as we begin the long road to recovery. Words cannot fully express the significance of your kindness. It is unbelievable to see the devastation caused by the fires that swept across Maui. However, we are continually uplifted by all the love and support we are receiving,” said Marlene Rice, Development Director, Maui Food Bank.
