Giving back is at the heart of the Spirit of EXIT. This May, Ryan Stavnes, real estate associate with EXIT Realty Helena, chose to support the Helena Area Community Foundation (HACF) by participating in the Greater Helena Gives 24-hour online fundraising campaign.
HACF hosts Greater Helena Gives to support the nonprofits around Helena. Anyone can easily make a donation to the nonprofit(s) of their choice from a single website. The nonprofits who participate are also selected to receive monetary prizes throughout the 24-hour period.
For Ryan, supporting HACF was an opportunity to invest in the community while also helping shine a light on the foundation’s mission. He believes that giving back strengthens the place we all call home and is a meaningful way to encourage others to learn about the organizations making a difference across the Helena area.
Thanks to the generosity of friends, family, and community members, Ryan and his team raised $2,215.25. EXIT Realty Corp. International matched their efforts with a $2,000 contribution, bringing the total donation to $4,215.25.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.
