EXIT Realty Professionals’ Sales Representative, Brent Gieseke, has been named a finalist for the National Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award.
Brent works tirelessly in benefit of Agape Pamoja, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving “the multi-faceted needs of refugees from war-torn countries residing in Kansas City by providing housing assistance, educational support, food, clothing, community involvement, leadership development and other aid while intentionally doing life together.”
According to NAR’s profile page, “For three years, Gieseke has helped find neglected, blighted homes in the inner city, typically paying about $35,000, and remade them into Blessing Houses. He organizes hundreds of community volunteers monthly to completely rehab the homes. Gieseke, also a contractor, invites refugee youths to work alongside him as he rehabs the properties, teaching them new skills such as hanging drywall, updating electrical systems, and fixing plumbing.” Read the full article here.
Votes can be cast for the Good Neighbor Award finalists until October 1, 2021. Five winners will receive $10,000 grants for their charities.
