The hard working real estate professionals of EXIT New Options Real Estate in Leominster and EXIT Assurance Realty in Groton, donated 1% of their closed commission to benefit Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts. Carolyn Read, the non-profit’s Executive Director, expressed her thanks for their generosity:
On behalf of the Harris and Cavooto families, as well as the five families served by the critical home repair program, I sincerely thank you for the donations your offices and agents made during the fourth quarter of 2019. The commitment of each of your agents to help us end poverty housing in central Massachusetts has helped to keep us building. The funds contributed in this time period helped us to put in the windows, doors and ceilings on two new homes in Ashburnham and perform five critical home repairs for homeowners in four different towns.
Thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to partnering with you as we continue to build homes, community and hope in North Central Massachusetts.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. For the fourth quarter of 2019, the agents’ donations totaled $2,095.65 which EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match, for a total donation to Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts of $4,191.30.
