Cindi Infiesto Participates in a “Puppy Pajama Party” to Help Local Animal Shelter

Cindi Infiesto, Broker/Owner of EXIT Select Realty in Fort Myers, FL, raised money for the PJ’s and Paws fundraiser held by Cape Coral Animal Shelter. The Cape Coral Animal Shelter provides adoption and medical services to the animals in their care and also works diligently with the community to educate and train both animals and humans alike to help avoid situations like abandonment and animal cruelty.

Cindi chose this charity because she loves animals and is really proud of the work this organization is doing. “They have huge hearts, an onsite veterinarian clinic, numerous volunteers, and after visiting their shelter and seeing how wonderful they are with the animals in their care, I knew I wanted to help them raise money,” said Cindi.

Cape Coral Animal Shelter had a fundraiser where “local celebrities” or business owners could participate in a sleepover at the shelter that consisted of them being assigned an animal, decorating their kennel, spending the evening with them watching a movie, playing games and doing activities and sleeping over in their finest pajamas. The event would allow the shelter, which is run strictly on donations, to purchase more blankets, medical supplies, food, cleaning materials, and any other necessities for the shelter.

Cindi and the brokerage promoted this fundraiser heavily on social media, using Facebook to provide links to donate. She also sent emails to current and past clients, as well as vendors and filmed content at the shelter to further promote the fundraiser.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program. EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Cindi hoped to raise $2,500 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however she exceeded that goal and raised $2,550 for a total donation of $5,050 to the Cape Coral Animal Shelter.
