Baldwin County, AL is now one step closer to completing a specialized sports/play complex for children with special needs thanks to this summer’s most raved about event. On June 29th, 2024, EXIT Allstar Gulf Coast Realty hosted a spectacular 1980’s themed concert fundraising event to benefit the Miracle League of Coastal Alabama, and it was a “totally awesome” experience. Stepping way back into the days of Teen Beat Magazine, attendees donned teased hair, blue mascara, acid washed jeans, jelly bracelets, and off-the-shoulder crop-tops as they danced the night away to some of the most beloved music of that era. DJ Artist Shane Henry with Invazzion Entertainment cranked up the energy and lit up the dance floor with an incredible DJ/laser light pre-concert performance for the VIP pre-party mixer.
Party-goers were delighted at the bountiful spread of food prepared and presented by some of the region’s top culinary chefs including Pete Blohme, Nick DiMario, and Tyler Jones.
This one-night event attracted other civic organizations, business leaders, families of special needs children, and so many others. Headlining the evening was none other than the greatest rock-n-roll force for freedom ever assembled, The Velcro Pygmies, who cranked up the energy with such an interactive and memorable performance!
Rounding out this magical evening were stunning acrobatics from aerialist entertainers who took flight to mesmerize the crowd, a huge raffle drawing giving away over $10K in prizes, and the fan-favorite, EXIT 360 photo booth.
EXIT Allstar Gulf Coast Realty helped ignite a growing awareness and interest in this project.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Jody and her team raised an astounding $22,525.71 and with the $4,000 match from EXIT Realty Corp. International they were able to bring that donation amount to a total of $26,525.71 to Miracle League of Coastal Alabama.
