Some of the most thunderous applause at EXIT Realty Corp. International’s Annual Convention occurs when EXIT Associates take the stage to share their personal struggles and triumphs.
Among them this year will be Robert Farrell, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Homeward Bound in Vestal, New York. In November of 2001, while working in Philadelphia during university, Robert suffered a devastating accident. By his side, his father, John Farrell, told Robert about the EXIT system, and how he had just met Tami Bonnell for the first time. In the midnight quiet of his hospital bed, Robert asked, “Is this system better for the agent and their family?” That simple question would change the Farrell family forever.
In five short years, Elizabeth (Beth) Lowe, Sales Representative with EXIT Realty Achieve, Smithtown, New York has prevailed over an abusive relationship, being jobless and almost homeless and has proven to herself and to the world that she could rise from the ashes. Beth is one of EXIT Realty’s top producers, ranking #33 in North America and was named to the LIBOR Young Professional Network, Top 20 Under 40 list.
Less than a month before EXIT’s 2014 Annual Convention, Cliff Hageman, Franchisee and Sales Representative was riding his motorcycle home from EXIT Realty Plus, in Gaithersburg, Maryland when he collided with a distracted driver. Cliff suffered catastrophic injuries to left leg including the loss of his calf muscle, 73% of the nerves in his foot and an artery that burst twice, almost costing him his life. Only a year later, up on EXIT Realty’s 2015 stage, Cliff will share his highs and lows through his life-changing decision to amputate.
