“Our office chose Children’s Village Inc. because our admin is a volunteer with the charity and has always supported their initiative. We had a chance to visit the facility to witness the kids that they take in off the streets in emergency situations and we wanted to help,” tells Tundra Pippens, Broker/Owner of EXIT Elite Realty in Hoover, AL.
Tundra and her team hosted a “pictures and donuts with Santa” Christmas Village event complete with activities for the kids and gifts. Donations were collected, which the charity will put towards clothing, food, and necessary items for the children housed at Children’s Village. Kids go to the facility with only the clothes on their backs.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Tundra and her team raised $1,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $2,000 to Children’s Village Inc.
