EXIT Extra Mile Realty hosted their annual golf tournament for Mississippi Sickle Cell Foundation to help raise money and awareness for those affected by the disease. The golf tournament was held at Bridges Golf Course in Bay St. Louis, MS.
Associates raised funds through registration, sponsorships, and a 50/50 raffle. A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Associates with EXIT Extra Mile Realty hoped to raise $1,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they greatly exceeded their goal and raised an astounding $7,000, for a total donation of $8,000 to Mississippi Sickle Cell Foundation.

Because of this contribution, the Mississippi Sickle Cell Foundation can continue its mission which is to enhance the quality of life for individuals living with sickle cell disease through the support of research, public activities and awareness, and patient and family education,” said Jeanne Julious Tate, Chairwoman, Mississippi Sickle Cell Foundation.
