EXIT Midstate Realty and the Spirit of EXIT Christmas in July Brat Fry a Success

This June, EXIT Midstate Realty professionals hosted a “Brat Fry” in the parking lot of their office. For a $5 donation guests could get a brat (or hot dog) with all the fixings (including sauerkraut), chips and a drink, and they could stay and enjoy their meal or grab it and go.  All proceeds from the sale of the food were donated to Christmas in July Charity.

Alissa Prentice, Owner of EXIT Midstate Realty, explains the reason this non-profit inspired her team to fundraise. “Many of our agents have children or grandchildren, some of whom have had stays or procedures at Marshfield Children’s Hospital, the main beneficiary of Christmas in July Charity’s efforts. This is a newer charity in our area, so we want to help get their name and cause out to the community. The money we raised will afford them the opportunity to purchase toys for patients, remodel areas of Marshfield Children’s Hospital that don’t currently fit into the operating budget, as well as provide for patient birthday and end of treatment parties and restock activity areas.”

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Alissa and her team hoped to raise $3,000 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they exceeded their goal and raised $3,402 for a total donation of $6,402 to Christmas in July Charity.
