“Morning Star has been a huge help in our area. From feeding the homeless, providing shelter, and giving gifts during the holiday season. The number of families they touch every year is amazing and the work they do has helped thousands,” explains Eddie Ruettiger, Broker/Owner of EXIT Real Estate Specialists, in Joliet, IL, on why he chose to support Morning Star Mission with a Christmas party fundraiser.
Eddie and his team held a Holiday Open House with food, music, raffles, and even Santa stopped by to spread some joy. Through the raffles they were able to raise money to go towards Morning Star’s general fund that helps sustain its ongoing mission and essential services to the community.
The event was promoted via email campaigns, social media, and an Eventbrite listing inviting current and previous clients and colleagues to join in the festivities and raise money for a great cause.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Eddie and his team raised $501 through their initiative, which EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match, for a total donation of $1,002 to Morning Star Mission.
