Joyce Paron Ranks in Top 10 Among 100 Most Influential Voices in Canadian Real Estate

Being ranked 10th among BUZZ Media’s Most Influential Executive Leaders announced as part of their Most Influential Voices in Canadian Real Estate rankings, is a direct reflection of how Joyce Paron approaches leadership as EXIT’s CEO of the Canadian Organization.

This is her second, consecutive recognition since the inception of these rankings, where she and 99 other industry leaders are hailed by BUZZ Media for demonstrating, “an unwavering commitment to elevating the profession, inspiring meaningful change, and leading with purpose during a time when the industry continues to evolve.”

“The real estate market has undergone significant changes over the past decade, placing great demands on brokerages and their agents,” Joyce says of the current real estate climate. “In an environment of uncertainty, it has never been more important for strong, resolute leadership that’s also flexible and adaptive.”

During one of the most challenging real estate markets for agents this past year, and under Joyce’s leadership, Canadian EXIT agents averaged 12 closed transactions per agent. This far exceeds industry averages and places the brand at the highest echelons of the business.

“Having a competitive business model that creates a financial future for real estate agents, one that doesn’t exist anywhere in North America, is key to attracting and keeping great producing professionals. Building an entrepreneurial mindset in agents when they enter the business is what EXIT does better than any brand, which has led to brokerages in both top market-share positions in their area and those growing to reach this pinnacle,” she continues. “Agents, who want a future beyond their last transaction, with a heart for people and a mind for business understand that the EXIT Formula was developed for those who want leverage and financial freedom.”

It would be difficult to dispute that today’s professionals face challenges unlike any before, yet Joyce knows every era brings its own challenges saying, “The dynamic changes over the past 36 months have ranged from a shift into a buyer’s market to the integration of AI, interest rate changes, political factors, and the acquisition of major industry players, to name a few. Transformation will keep shaping real estate and other industries, and meeting these changes with purpose, focus, and an open mind is essential for success.”

Joyce has been with EXIT since 1997 and has seen her fair share of change in that time. She’s known for her people-focused, adaptive and forward-thinking approach which she shares through events ranging from local venues to international conventions, as well as in high-profile interviews and webinars. By choosing to align with EXIT’s Formula, which changed the industry back then and still shapes earnings potential today, she has witnessed EXIT Realty Corp. International pay out more than two thirds of a billion dollars to its associates in single-level residuals that transition with agents from working full-time, through retirement and as a death benefit for their loved ones.

While brokers and agents are looking for answers, stability and mostly leadership that resonates with who they are and where they want to go, the public they serve demands trustworthiness; someone who can guide them through the purchase or sale of the largest asset most will own, and transparency about what to expect. It’s a responsibility Joyce believes deserves the utmost integrity.

“Serving the public is a privilege that demands we continually strive to be our best, to raise the bar on professionalism and the value we bring,” she explains.

When asked about the year ahead for EXIT in Canada, Joyce reiterates the company’s commitment to providing entrepreneurial brokers and agents with new financial opportunities in Ontario.

“Our business platform maximizes the leverage entrepreneurs need and want, which isn’t available anywhere else in our industry. In a world that’s improving efficiency using AI, last I looked, we’re still human,” she says, “and humans need humans. We thrive in environments where we support and empower each other, where we can connect, talk and discover the best of ourselves, and those are precisely the environments EXIT’s culture creates.”
