EXIT Realty Bob Lamb & Associates teamed up with Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in support of Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity (RCHFH). Volunteers including MTSU students, EXIT Realty Bob Lamb & Associates team, donation sponsors, and the Habitat construction crew, hammered nail-by-nail to construct the walls for the Alcocer-Robinson family.
The event was held in the Student Union Commons and was the perfect location. As walls were constructed, laughs and conversation was shared between agents, students, and the future homeowners. With approximately 100 volunteers, EXIT Realty Bob Lamb & Associates played a huge role in getting the family closer to achieving their dream of homeownership.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. The team at EXIT Realty Bob Lamb & Associates raised funds in addition to participating in the build. They hoped to raise $5,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they raised $5,260.70 for a total donation of $10,260.70 to Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity.
“Your continued support allows RCHFH to provide affordable housing opportunities in Rutherford County. As you observe Habitat homes being built, we hope you will take pride in knowing your support and partnership allows Habitat to assist them in achieving their goal of becoming a homeowner,” said Terri Shultz, Executive Director of Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity.
