EXIT Realty N.F.I. Participates in Charity Sporting Clay Shoot to Benefit Capstone Adaptive Learning

By Randy Bricker, Sales Representative with EXIT Realty N.F.I., Pensacola, FL

Capstone Adaptive Learning and Therapy Center has been close to my heart for a long time. They are able to provide educational and therapeutic services for children and adults with developmental disabilities (autism spectrum, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, etc.) to increase their independence. These are individuals who often fall through the cracks and wouldn’t have a place to go without Capstone there for them. Many of their clients would be in nursing homes, not getting the individualized care and therapies they need to survive. Walking into any of Capstone’s facilities you feel and see the love and care they have for each client, that’s why I chose them as my Spirit of EXIT initiative charity.

We raised funds by acquiring team sign ups and sponsors for the clay shoot. We put together silent auction and raffle items at the event as well. Shooters were checked in, had a safety briefing, a BBQ lunch with time to bid on auction and raffle items, and with a shot gun start the games commenced. After the shoot prizes were awarded along with items for the auction and raffle. EXIT was the main event sponsor, so the community was able to see how EXIT agents are involved at a local level in charitable giving, as well as internationally.

Overall, the funds raised during the event will help Capstone to continue achieving their mission of advancing the independence of children and adults with a spectrum of abilities and disabilities. It also allows programs like pediatric therapies, specialized childcare, youth transition, residential group homes, and many more to stay in motion.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Randy and his team of professionals hoped to raise $6,500, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they far exceeded their goal and raised $15, 529.36 for a total donation of $22,029.36 to Capstone Adaptive Learning and Therapy Center, INC.

“Proceeds from this charity sporting clays tournament go towards many children and adult’s programs provided by Capstone. Because of amazing community partners like EXIT Realty N.F.I. and EXIT Realty Corp. International, Capstone can continue providing important services that help children and adults of all abilities learn and grow to their fullest potential. On behalf of our children, students, and staff we send our sincere thanks for your generosity,” said Dr. Sherry A. White, President/CEO of Capstone Adaptive Learning and Therapy Center.
