Joshua Floyd, Franchisee of EXIT Realty Southern in Sulphur and Lake Charles, LA and his team of professionals hosted their first fundraising event to benefit the Department of Family and Youth, Court Appointed State Advocates (CASA). CASA works to build, support, and advocate for a statewide network of Court-Appointed volunteers to speak for abused and neglected children. When asked why this organization was chosen, Joshua said, “To help children in the foster care system who need a voice in the court system. They help to secure safe and permanent homes for abused and neglected children by investigating and monitoring cases involving children in foster care.”
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Joshua and his team hoped to raise $5,000 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they exceeded their goal and raised $6,500 for a total donation of $11,500 to the Department of Family and Youth, CASA.
