Jeff Klemmer, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Springside in Woodbury, MN, and his team came together to support Corrie’s House, an organization that works to provide services for those trapped in the cycle of sex trafficking.
“The FBI identified the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St.Paul, MN) as one of thirteen US cities with a high incidence of child prostitution. This infuriates me and I want to do my part to help the victims of child sex trafficking,” explained Jeff of why he chose this charity.
He and his team sponsored and raised money during the Gala and Silent Auction Against Sex Trafficking on November 13th which included a dinner, live music, auction, and presentation about Corrie’s House and all the work they are doing. Money was raised by selling tickets to the dinner and auction which was promoted on social media platforms.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Jeff and his team hoped to raise $10,000 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they exceeded that goal and raised $16,014 for a total donation of $26,014 to Corrie’s House.
“Thank you for generously matching $10,000 from our Gala and Auction. It was a joy and privilege to partner with EXIT Realty Springside, and we are extremely thankful for the work that Jeff Klemmer put into formulating the idea, planning the event, and hosting the evening. Your dollar goes further with Corrie’s House, and we are thankful for both your financial support and the donation of your time for this event,” said Anna Pieper, Director of Operations for Corrie’s House.
