Felicia McGee, Broker Owner of EXIT Realty Downhome in Athens, AL, made front page news recently when she rappelled down the 189’ Regions Building in Huntsville, AL, to raise money in support of the Kids to Love Foundation. Kids to Love is an organization that works to improve the lives of children in foster care.
“I’ve always had a heart for foster children. I can’t imagine what they face without a safe and loving family, moving from home to home,” said Felicia. “I support this charity for kids who deserve better.” Money raised from the Over the Edge fundraiser will be used for school supplies, day to day essentials, clothing, shoes, and housing needs for the children in their care.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Felicia solicited donations on social media and by visiting neighbors and local businesses door-to-door, raising $1,535 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $3,070 to Kids to Love Foundation.
