Felicia McGee Went Over the Edge Again for Kids to Love with the Help of Spirit of EXIT

“I’ve always had a heart for foster children. I can’t imagine what these children face without a safe and loving family, moving from home to home,” tells Felicia McGee, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Downhome in Athens, AL, “I give to this charity for kids who deserve better.”

Felicia chose to support Kids to Love,  an organization that not only helps foster children find forever families, but also provides opportunities for scholarships, educational programs, and things like backpacks filled with school supplies.

“I was privileged to take part in the Kids to Love Over the Edge fundraiser again this year, on my 35th birthday! I had so much fun raising awareness for Kids to Love and raising a donation to benefit the children in foster care in north Alabama. I conquered my fear of heights again by rappelling down the edge of the 160′ tall Regions building in downtown Huntsville. It was much easier than last year; I’m not sure how anyone leans back over the building the first time without any feelings of panic. But this year I trusted the rappel equipment and leaned over the edge without paralyzing fear, so it was a huge success, ” Felicia says.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Felicia raised $460 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $920 for Kids to Love.
