EXIT Realty Associates in Lubbock, Texas gathered recently for a hands-on workshop taught by EXIT Realty’s Vice President of Technology Engagement, Annette Anthony.
At EXIT Realty, we believe that technology is only as good as the person who uses it. If you’re not trained how to use it, it doesn’t matter what tools you have. Anthony travels across the continent teaching real estate agents of all skill levels how to utilize EXIT’s vast marketing suite to engage with their clients, work more efficiently and to make more money.
“This photo was taken at EXIT Realty of Lubbock, a top notch brokerage led by father and son duo, Gene McGuire and Russell McGuire. Where many agents would shy away from a full-day hands-on workshop, Gene and Russell attracted their best and brightest to attend. Agents came with tech-in-hand and the enthusiasm to learn how to apply EXIT’s latest technology to grow their productivity. The room was packed!”
First up in her wildly popular workshops, Anthony gets the associates plugged in and logged on and then teaches not only the “how” but also the “why” behind each tool. “Our workshops are incredibly successful because our agents are in an environment in which they can learn at their own pace,” she says. “Everyone walks away learning something that they can apply in their business immediately to better engage with their contacts. I especially love it when I walk throughout the room as I’m teaching. When an agent gets stuck it isn’t uncommon for him or her to say, ‘Just go ahead, I’ll catch up later,’ and at that point we pause and work through it together.” The ‘no one left behind’ inclusive nature of the workshop ensures everyone applies what they’re learning during the class and increases their confidence so they are more likely to use the tools on a day-to-day basis in their business.
“My word for 2016 is growth,” Anthony says, referring to Jon Gordon’s popular book One Word That Will Change Your Life. “Growth in our associates’ use of our tools, growth in EXIT’s per-agent productivity and growth between our Associates and our Support team.” If the increasing popularity of Anthony’s workshops is any indication, her word was well-chosen indeed.
