Lori Muller of EXIT Realty Elite is really taking leading by example to heart. A hardworking mother of three and an exemplary Broker/Owner, she also holds an executive role with the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) on a National level. She is a strategic planner and goal setter who credits business planning, coaching, and vision boards for getting many things accomplished.
Lori and her husband Greg Muller began their EXIT journey with a small office in Appleton, WI in 2007. With strategic recruiting and strong leadership, they have grown it into the very successful office it is today. And, they have recently opened two additional EXIT Elite Realty offices in neighboring communities; one in Shawano in 2016 and another Green Bay in 2017.
Active in many areas in her community, Lori’s passion is WCR. When first introduced to WCR, she was disappointed to find that there was not a local chapter in her area. Having a keen interest and not one to sit still, she then sought the advice of her state officers and was instrumental in getting the ball rolling, eventually chartering the Fox Valley Chapter with the help of six other interested women in that area. Through WCR she has had the opportunity to both teach and speak and is now serving as the 2018 Regional Vice President for Region 2, as well as being elected to serve on WCR’s 2018 National Executive Committee.
As an EXIT Realty Franchisee, Lori encourages each of her associates to work with a business plan in place and utilize vision boards to set goals. She meets with each person on either a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. She is beginning this year in more of a leadership role within the business, but continues to stay educated within her marketplace so she can always be prepared and apprised of current selling and buying trends.
In addition, Lori has Directors of Agent Services in place within each of her offices to help the agents to stay on track and grow. She has implemented a mentoring program and offers performance training, personality profiles, and a success training program, as well. Concerned for the overall well-being and success of her agents, on January 1st of this year Lori started a wellness program which offers health, dental, and vision insurance. Her motto is ‘people before profit’ and it’s exemplified in the way she takes care of those who work with her.
Constantly looking for ways to grow as a leader, Lori Muller understands that one actually gets more by giving. As a leader, she has realized that empowering her associates so they can grow is the best thing she can give. When asked what personal goals she’d like to accomplish by 2020, her list included having 4 anchor offices in place, with 11 satellite offices and 400 agents generating $60,000 in GCI or higher, each. With everything we’ve seen so far, we believe she’s well on her way!
