EXIT Realty Twin Bridges, Brokerage was thrilled to have a team in the Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton Guthrie Drive Build. This project was the largest of it’s kind in Canada with approximately 40 teams participating with a mix of corporate teams, women build teams and faith build teams.
Our EXIT team wanted to do something fun to raise money, so we planned a family fund day. We rented our library theatre and hired a magician and a princess to entertain the kids. We collected donations at the door in lieu of a ticket price. We had a full theatre with not one seat left and the energy in the room was fantastic. The kids had a great time and left with an EXIT balloon. We also sold water at our EXIT movie in the park and collected individual donations.
On August 18, 2018 our team had our day on the build site (coincidentally two years to the day after I purchased the brokerage). It was one of the hottest days of the year, but we still had a lot of fun. The Habitat team was amazing, kind and very patient while they taught us how to do the jobs on the site.
This was an amazing team building project for our EXIT Realty Twin Bridges, Brokerage family and we had a lot of fun from start to finish. We truly came together as a team to accomplish something incredible.
A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. The team at EXIT Realty Twin Bridges, Brokerage planned to raise $2,000 which EXIT Realty Corp. International agreed to match. They raised $2103.30 for a total donation to Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton of $4,103.30.
