Sharee Body, Sales Representative of EXIT Flagship Realty in Upper Marlboro, MD hosted an online fundraiser for Sarah’s House. Sarah’s House is an organization that provides emergency shelter and many necessities for families experiencing homelessness.
Sharee used social media to promote her online fundraiser. “I chose this charity because I was once in the same situation as these families, and I really wanted to find a way to show my support and give back to the community,” says Sharee.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Sharee raised $744.96 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $1,489.92 to Sarah’s House.
