Stony Creek Elementary Enjoys a Fun Outdoor Movie Night Fundraiser Thanks to Chelsea Roe

“I like to support the local schools in my community. I want to help give back to Stony Creek Elementary School by providing a fundraiser of an outdoor movie night,” tells Chelsea Roe, Associate Broker with EXIT Realty DTC, Cherry Creek, Pikes Peak in Englewood, CO.

Flyers were sent home with students in their Friday folders advertising the movie night. Payment was accepted online, by credit card or in cash.

“The night was a big success with over 100 attendees! Every person attending purchased a ticket to watch the movie, Flubber. Their ticket also came with a bag of popcorn. The money raised is going back to the school to purchase new playground equipment. It was such an honor to help out the school that my four boys have gone and currently go to,” Chelsea said.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Chelsea hoped to raise $800 for her initiative, which EXIT Realty’s head office was proud to match, however she raised $816 making the total donation $1,616 to Stony Creek Elementary PTO.
