Swinging for Inclusion, EXIT Realty Advantage’s Golf Tournament Raises Over $10K

A beautiful day on the green turned into a major win for inclusion and community connection as EXIT Realty Advantage in Fredericton, New Brunswick, cohosted the Swing for a Cause Golf Tournament in support of Inclusion NB.

Held this September at the scenic Mactaquac Golf Course, the event brought together 26 enthusiastic teams and a number of generous hole sponsors, all teeing off for a common goal, to help create more inclusive opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across New Brunswick.

Through team registrations, sponsorships, and donations, the tournament raised an incredible $11,071.03. Thanks to the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT Realty Corp. International provided an additional $3,000 in matching funds, bringing the grand total to $14,071.03 for Inclusion NB.

The initiatives inspiration came from Ed Carten, Sales Representative with EXIT Realty Advantage, whose personal connection to the cause made the day even more meaningful, having raised a child with special needs.

The funds raised will support Inclusion NB’s ongoing efforts to build inclusive communities where everyone, regardless of ability, can learn, work, and thrive.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT Realty Corp. International to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.

“Your financial support is greatly appreciated. Your donation will allow us to reach out to children and adults who have an intellectual disability, and their families, to provide the support they need. For that, we could never thank you enough,” said Jake Reid, Executive Director, Inclusion NB.

Together, with heart and purpose, the EXIT Realty Advantage team truly hit a hole in one.
