EXIT Realty Lyon in Mobile, Alabama was the title sponsor of the Mobile Bay Charity Golf Classic this spring, raising funds to benefit three local charities.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities, including Habitat for Humanity, and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Sponsorships and player registrations raised funds in the amount of $4,930.90 which benefited Wilmer Hall Children’s Home, Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Alabama and Rotary. A request was made to EXIT Realty Corp. International to match these funds and a total donation of $9,861.80 was split between the three organizations.
Wilmer Hall Children’s Home is a non-profit faith-based organization that has been serving children in need in Mobile since 1864. Wilmer Hall serves children and young adults through several on-campus programs that provide tutoring, on-campus living and other tools needed to succeed.
Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Alabama is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing as a matter of conscience and action. Habitat builds simple decent houses in partnership with people in need in the community. Through donations of time, materials and investment, Habitat houses are sold to families at no profit, financed with affordable no-interest loans.

It was a please serving as the Mobile Bay Charity Golf Classic tournament chairman and I was amazed at the coming together of volunteers, sponsors and golfers to make this event a huge success.
