EXIT Real Estate Partners Ride to Fight Childhood Cancer

By Chris Hochstedt, Franchisee of EXIT Real Estate Partners in Downers Grove, IL

In the spirit of celebration and triumph, The Great Cycle Challenge concludes a remarkable riding season that has left a mark on the fight against childhood cancer. Over the past few months, my team as well as other cyclists from around the world strapped on their helmets, and collectively pedaled towards a common goal—to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research.

This year’s riding season was not just about the physical act of cycling; it was a celebration of advocacy and awareness. The Great Cycle Challenge succeeded in amplifying the voices of those affected by childhood cancer, bringing their stories to the forefront, and fostering a broader understanding of the struggles these young warriors and their families face.

The success of this riding season serves as a powerful foundation for the future. The fight against childhood cancer continues, and the momentum generated during this Great Cycle Challenge sets the stage for even greater accomplishments. Together, as a united community of cyclists, supporters, and advocates, we pedal towards a future where childhood cancer is no longer a threat, and every child has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and ride towards a brighter tomorrow.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Chris and his team of professionals raised $899.38, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $1,798.76 to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund.

“I am writing to thank you for your participation in the Great Cycle Challenge (GCC) in 2023, an event benefiting Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF). Through participating in the 2023 GCC, team EXIT Real Estate Partners rode 670.8 miles for research into safer, more effective treatments for children with cancer,” said Angeli Brenner, Rider Support Manager, Great Cycle Challenge.
