EXIT Realty N.F.I.’s Charity Golf Tournament Benefits Capstone Adaptive Learning & Therapy Centers

By Randy Bricker, Sales Representative with EXIT Realty N.F.I. in Pensacola, FL

I like choosing a charity where the funds stay 100% local to support my community.

Capstone Adaptive Learning & Therapy Centers provides educational and therapeutic services for children and adults with developmental disabilities (autism spectrum, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, etc.) to increase their independence.

Our Charity Golf Tournament kicked off on April 19th at Scenic Hills Golf Course in Pensacola, FL. Golfers checked in and were served a BBQ lunch. We had lots of raffle and auction items to bid on during the lunch. After the tournament we awarded prizes, raffles, and auction items. It was a great time for a great cause! The community saw how EXIT agents are involved at a local level in charitable giving, as well as internationally.

The funds raised will help Capstone continue achieving their mission of advancing the independence of children and adults with a spectrum of abilities and disabilities. In doing that, it will allow programs like Pediatric Therapies, Specialized Childcare, Youth Transition, Residential Group Homes, Charter Schools for 3- to 5-year-olds, and Voluntary Pre-kindergarten (VPK) to stay in motion. Capstone programs foster learning, promote creativity, build independence, increase physical and social skills, and enhance self-esteem.

We raised funds by getting team sign ups to play in the tournament. We put together items for the silent auction and raffle section at the event and also sold tee signs for sponsors that could be put up around the course.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Randy and his team hoped to raise $6,500, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they greatly exceeded their goal and raised an astonishing $18,870.27 for a total donation of $25,370.27 to Capstone Adaptive Learning & Therapy Centers.

“We truly appreciate your willingness to contribute to our cause and our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. With EXIT Realty Corp. International’s contribution, Capstone can continue providing important services that help individuals with disabilities learn and grow to their fullest potential,” said Dr. Sherry A. White, President/CEO, Capstone Adaptive Learning & Therapy Centers.
