By Joshua Floyd, Franchisee and Sales Associate with EXIT Realty Southern in Lake Charles, LA
EXIT Realty Southern and its associates proudly hosted Cheers for CASA, a benefit event supporting the vital work of Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers across Southwest Louisiana. CASA volunteers serve as the eyes and ears of the court for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. With over 400 new cases each year, these dedicated individuals commit countless hours and resources to advocate for the best interests of vulnerable children navigating the court system.
EXIT Realty Southern associates are deeply passionate about this cause because of the urgent need it addresses within our communities. While many of us have been fortunate to never experience such trauma, we believe every child has the right to a safe, stable, and loving home. The Cheers for CASA event allows us to give back to the volunteers who give so much of themselves to support local children and families. Held at a beautiful two-story event center, the event featured a lively ticket drop raffle with over 30 high end prizes, a thrilling live auction where the highest bidders walked away with premium items, live music, and a gourmet three course meal served to VIP tables by one of the region’s finest restaurants.
This incredible evening would not have been possible without the dedication and support of the entire EXIT Realty Southern team- agents, staff, and affiliates alike. We are also grateful to our partners in the real estate industry, including mortgage lenders, home inspectors, insurance agents, and other local firms whose collaboration helped bring this event to life.
Together, we are proud to support CASA’s mission and to stand behind the heroes who advocate for the most vulnerable members of our community.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.
Thanks to Joshua, and his team of professionals, $18,000 was raised so CASA can continue doing the amazing work they do every day with the Family & Youth Counseling Agency.
