The Spirit of EXIT Matches Funds Raised to Serve Our Willing Warriors

Patrick Cloud, Franchisee and Sales Representative with EXIT Realty Pros in Manassas, Virginia, spearheaded a local “Flags for Heroes” campaign benefiting Serve Our Willing Warriors (SOWW).  As President of the Bull Run Rotary Club, Cloud coordinated the sale and sponsorship of hundreds of American flags that were beautifully displayed on the grounds of the Manassas Museum.

A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund.  Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds.  The Flags for Heroes campaign raised $4,700 which was matched by EXIT Realty Corp. International for a total donation to SOWW of $9,400.

According to the organization’s website, “Serve Our Willing Warriors is a publicly funded, community-supported, nonprofit providing encouragement and support for our nation’s warriors through non-medical programs and services that positively affect their recovery.”  SOWW operates the Warrior Retreat at Bull Run in Haymarket, VA, a cost-free retreat for local wounded, disabled, and recovering veterans.

“We are forever grateful that you chose to support our mission to provide encouragement and support to our nation’s warriors and their families during their recovery process by providing them a peaceful retreat,” said Shirley Dominick, President and Co-Founder of Serve Our Willing Warriors.  “We at SOWW work hard to make contributions to benefit our guests in an impactful way and we appreciate your generosity in supporting our cause.”
