Januari Coates, Broker/Owner of EXIT Leading Edge Realty in Stafford, VA has worked with For the Love of Others for the past three years volunteering her time for Back to School and Thanksgiving initiatives as well as donating countless meals. For the Love of Others is an organization that provides opportunities and assistance for those in need to lead a more purpose driven life.
“For the Love of Others makes sure that several counties receive all necessities for students to strive in school. Providing the necessary tools for them helps to further a student’s education and takes the load off of parents who cannot afford the rising cost of supplies for their children,” Januari explains. The Back to School initiative raises money to buy items based on the lists provided by the schools to ensure students have all they need for hybrid, in person, and distance learning.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Januari and the team at EXIT Leading Edge Realty raised $2,500, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $5,000 to For the Love of Others.
“When Januari informed us of the 1:1 matching program that EXIT Realty Corp. International provides, we were elated. Because of the financial contributions made on her behalf and the 1:1 matching program, we will be able to bless over 850 children with backpacks full of school supplies, clothes, shoes, and personal protective equipment for the upcoming academic school year.
