EXIT Coastal Real Estate Pros and the Spirit of EXIT Help Get a Trike for Christa

MaryAnne Dorio, Broker Owner of EXIT Coastal Real Estate Pros in Myrtle Beach, SC, and her team got together to raise money for the McLindon Family Foundation. The McLindon Family Foundation is a nonprofit that provides adaptive bicycles to children with special needs.

The team chose to support this organization because the foundation reached out regarding donations for a tricycle for Christa, a local child with cerebral palsy. Christa needs the adapted tricycle to help with muscle development, but unfortunately, the cost of the tricycles is not covered by insurance. MaryAnne and her team believed if they worked together, they could better their community and help Christa..

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.

The EXIT Associates used social media, press releases, and reached out to current, past, and future clients and service providers to raise money for this initiative. They hoped to raise $1,500 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match but exceeded their goal and raised $1,766.65 for a total donation of $3,266.65 to the McLindon Family Foundation for Christa.

“We are so appreciative of the contribution as this bike will do wonders for Christa’s physical strength and activity. Thank you very much,” said Allison Oubre, Program Manager of McLindon Family Foundation.
