$48,000 Raised for Food DEPOT Alimentaire Thanks to EXIT Realty Associates and the Spirit of EXIT

Parise Cormier, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Associates in Dieppe, NB and her team of professionals, raised money in support of the Food DEPOT Alimentaire. Food DEPOT Alimentaire supplies all food products to food banks in the New Brunswick area.

“This charity is very close to my heart! There are so many children and families that rely on this charity to have food. In these trying times, especially with homeschooling, there are many children that do not have three meals per day,” Parise says.

The team at EXIT Realty Associates raised money inhouse as well as through an online fundraiser that they promoted within the community. “We have again this year, cancelled our Christmas party. The real estate community has been thriving in the past years; it is our time to lend a hand,” Parise explains.

“On behalf of the Food DEPOT Alimentaire, I would like to express my deepest gratitude. We are able to purchase two meals for every dollar donated. Your donation allowed families to enjoy the holiday season happy and with full stomachs,” said Steve MacIntyre, Manager of Food DEPOT Alimentaire.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Parise and her team hoped to raise $15,000 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they far exceeded their goal and raised an astonishing $33,000 for a total donation of $48,000 to Food DEPOT Alimentaire.

“Our operations depend largely on private donations, both from businesses and the public, without which we would indeed be in dire straits.  It is great people like you, that make us proud to be a part of the local community and allow us to make sure that all people in need are fed,” said Mr. MacIntyre.
