“We were involved with Hospice for many years through real estate and saw the work they do, and members of our own families benefited from their services,” explained James Ennis, and Michelle Holmes, sales representatives with EXIT Realty PEI in Charlottetown, why they chose to support Hospice Palliative Care Association of PEI (Hospice PEI).
They co-hosted a spring musical event, Singing with the Stars, on April 11th that featured Catherine McGellan, Shane Pendergast, Todd McLean, Roy Johnson, and Margie Carmichael, all well established island musicians.
Funds were raised through tickets sales to the event with each ticket costing $30. James, Michelle, and their team raised $5,081.02 and EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to donate another $3,000 for a total donation of $8,081.02 to Hospice PEI.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.
